Arthur Hagen Miller

Arthur Hagen Miller was the only child of Charles Roberts and Mary Elizabeth Miller. He was also the grandson of Caroline and William Miller, and nephew to John Faber and William G. Miller.


1888: Born on August 3


1905: Graduated at the Friends' Central School


1909: Graduated at the University of Pennsylvania with an AB (Bachelor of Arts) degree


During his time at Penn, he was vice president of the Arts and Science Association. He was also a member of the Philomathean Society of the University of Pennsylvania and the Sigma Pi Fraternity in 1910.


1912: Earned his LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from UPenn; admitted to the practice in the State Supreme Court and at the Philadelphia bar with offices in the Land Title Building; married to Ethel Borden


With Ethel, they had 2 children: Josiah (1914) and Mary (1917)


1956: Wrote a memoir called "Fond Memories." In his book, he talked about his immediate family and his career. He talks mostly about being with his grandmother Caroline.
