Our objective was to write a research of a topic of interest. The topic I chose was about archives' role in social media. I recently read an article about someone who did a digital archive on social media (Instagram) relating to the Dominican Republic women in New York in the 1960s. The reason why she created an Instagram archive was because the CUNY archives didn't have any collections relating to the DR women. I was inspired to do this paper, and thought about what the future would look like when archives go digital. But, do they transfer to social media? In the paper we have to apply our research to readings and lectures discussed in the course.
